Junior Technical Product Manager – AI & Automation
Location: Norwalk, CT Timing: Position available immediately Schedule: Full-time, hybrid. We offer a fun working environment, with three days in the office (located in Norwalk, CT) and two days remote. ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re looking for a Junior Technical Product Manager to help drive our AI-focused technology initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking, technical execution, and organizational change. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to bring AI-powered solutions from concept to reality.
This is an ideal role for someone who’s technically curious, comfortable building quick prototypes, and excited about helping a media organization embrace AI and modern development practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical POC Development
Build rapid proof-of-concept applications to validate AI ideas using no-code/low-code tools and AI-assisted development
Create functional demos that can be shown to stakeholders and used for validation
Work with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to accelerate development
Document technical approaches and learnings for broader team adoption
Technical Project Support
Help prioritize and manage AI and Technical idea submission pipeline from employees across the company
Assist in planning and facilitating Lunch & Learn sessions on AI tools and workflows
Track proof-of-concept outcomes and support build/adopt/buy decisions
Coordinate with Technology team on implementation of validated concepts
Workflow Integration
Partner with department leads to identify opportunities for AI and automation
Help teams understand and adopt both internal AI tools and third-party solutions (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Create documentation, guides, and training materials for AI tool adoption
Gather feedback and iterate on solutions based on real-world usage
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
1-3 years of experience in product management, technical project management, or related role
Demonstrated ability to build functional prototypes or applications (formal development experience not required)
Strong communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude Code, etc.) in a professional context
Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly evolving priorities
Preferred
Experience in media, advertising, or marketing technology
Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms (Retool, Bubble, etc.)
Understanding of APIs and how systems integrate
